Ingredients
  

  • Strawberries, hulled and halved
  • Cantaloupe, cut into bite-size cubes
  • Pineapple, cut into chunks
  • Kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • Purple or red grapes
  • Plain Greek yogurt
  • Honey
  • Almond extract (or vanilla extract)
  • Ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Wash all fruit thoroughly and pat dry. Hull and halve the strawberries, peel and slice the kiwi, and cut the pineapple and cantaloupe into evenly sized pieces. Keeping the fruit similar in size makes the skewers easier to assemble and eat.
  • Thread the fruit onto wooden skewers in rainbow order: strawberries, cantaloupe, pineapple, kiwi, and grapes. Repeat until all fruit is used. Arrange the finished fruit sticks on a large platter or tray.
  • In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey, almond extract, and cinnamon. Stir until smooth and well blended. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Place the yogurt dip in the center of the platter surrounded by the fruit sticks. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Use short skewers for kid-friendly portions, pat fruit dry to prevent slipping, chill fruit and dip before serving, assemble close to serving time, and keep yogurt dip over ice if serving outdoors.
