Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp chili flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine olive oil, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, oregano, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Stir until the marinade is well blended.
  • Add the cubed chicken to the marinade and toss until every piece is evenly coated.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse into the chicken.
  • Soak wooden skewers in water for about 20 minutes while the chicken marinates to prevent burning during grilling.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  • Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked skewers, leaving small gaps between pieces for even cooking.
  • Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10–12 minutes, turning every few minutes so all sides cook evenly.
  • During grilling, brush the skewers lightly with extra marinade to enhance the glaze and flavor.
  • Remove the skewers when the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Cut chicken into evenly sized cubes so they cook at the same rate. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes for better flavor, but up to 4 hours if time allows. Soaking wooden skewers in water helps prevent burning on the grill. Turn skewers frequently for even cooking and brush lightly with marinade while grilling to build a glossy honey garlic glaze.
