Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • spoon
  • food processor (optional) for finer texture

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked ham, finely chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp celery, finely chopped
  • bread slices, crackers, or lettuce leaves for serving

Instructions

  • Finely chop the cooked ham using a knife or food processor until uniform in texture.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped ham, mayonnaise, mustard, relish, onion, and celery.
  • Mix thoroughly until the salad becomes creamy and well blended. Adjust texture with more mayonnaise if needed.
  • Cover and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes to allow flavors to meld, if desired.
  • Serve on bread, crackers, or lettuce wraps and enjoy.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt or mashed avocado. Chill before serving for best flavor. Avoid over-processing the ham to maintain a pleasant texture. Adjust sweetness by using dill relish instead of sweet.
