Equipment

  • knife for slicing strawberries
  • cutting board
  • toothpicks cut into small pieces
  • serving plate

Ingredients

  • 20 green seedless grapes
  • 10 fresh strawberries
  • 20 small candy eyeballs
  • 10 toothpicks (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese or peanut butter

Instructions

  • Wash grapes and strawberries thoroughly and pat them dry completely.
  • Slice each strawberry in half lengthwise to create the snail shells.
  • Place one grape on a flat surface to form the snail body.
  • Add a small dab of cream cheese or peanut butter on top of the grape and attach a strawberry half as the shell.
  • Position a second grape in front to form the head, securing it with a small dab if needed.
  • Attach candy eyeballs to the front grape using a tiny amount of cream cheese or peanut butter.
  • Insert small toothpick pieces into the head grape to create antennae.
  • Repeat the process with remaining ingredients to assemble all snails.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve and enjoy chilled.

Notes

Use cream cheese for a mild flavor or peanut butter for a nuttier taste. For allergy-friendly options, try sunflower seed butter or yogurt. Replace toothpicks with pretzel sticks for kids. Assemble just before serving for best freshness and keep fruit dry to prevent slipping.
