Equipment

  • large serving board or tray
  • small bowls or ramekins
  • knife and cutting board
  • spatula or tongs

Ingredients

  • 15 mini pancakes (assorted flavors)
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup grapes
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (for apples, optional)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Greek or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the pancakes according to your chosen recipe or package instructions. Smaller pancakes work best for a serving board.
  • Wash all fruit thoroughly. Slice larger fruits like strawberries and bananas into bite-sized pieces.
  • Place syrups, yogurt, and other spreads into small bowls to keep the board neat.
  • Arrange pancakes in small stacks on a large board. Fill the remaining space with fruit and bowls of toppings.
  • Serve immediately while pancakes are warm and fruit is fresh. Provide small plates and forks.

Notes

Use mini pancakes for easier serving and better balance on the board. Whole wheat or gluten-free pancakes work well, and dairy-free yogurts or whipped toppings can be substituted as needed. Assemble just before serving for the freshest look.
