Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • large skillet or griddle
  • non-stick frying pan
  • spatula
  • serving plate

Ingredients

  • 6 slices thick bread (brioche or sandwich bread)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter (for cooking French toast)
  • 6 beef or turkey breakfast sausage links
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 5 large eggs (for scrambled eggs)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for scrambled eggs)
  • 1 tbsp butter (for scrambled eggs)
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • maple syrup for serving
  • fresh berries or fruit slices for serving

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together 3 eggs, 3/4 cup milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth and evenly combined to form the French toast custard.
  • Place a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon butter until it coats the surface of the pan.
  • Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides quickly without oversoaking.
  • Place coated bread slices onto the hot skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crisp. Repeat with remaining slices.
  • In another skillet over medium heat, cook the beef or turkey sausage links for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and fully cooked.
  • Place turkey bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat and cook for 4 to 6 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
  • In a bowl whisk together 5 eggs, 2 tablespoons milk, salt, and black pepper until smooth and slightly frothy.
  • Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Pour in the egg mixture and gently stir with a spatula as the eggs slowly cook until soft and fluffy.
  • Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the scrambled eggs for added color and flavor.
  • Arrange the French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage links, and crispy turkey bacon on a serving plate. Drizzle maple syrup over the French toast and serve with fresh berries or sliced fruit.

Notes

Use thick bread such as brioche or challah for the best texture. Dip the bread quickly to prevent soggy French toast and cook over medium heat for even browning. Scrambled eggs stay soft and fluffy when cooked slowly over low heat. You can substitute oat milk, almond milk, or low-fat milk, and use turkey or beef sausage depending on preference. Serve immediately with maple syrup and fresh berries for the best flavor.
