Equipment

  • skillet for steak and eggs
  • spatula

Ingredients

  • 400 g beef steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp chili oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Pat steak cubes dry and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steak cubes 2–3 minutes per side until desired doneness is reached. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Reduce heat to medium, add butter, garlic, and herbs. Toss steak bites in garlic butter 1–2 minutes, then remove and keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, cook eggs sunny-side-up until whites are set and yolks remain runny.
  • Plate steak bites with eggs, drizzle with chili oil, and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

Pat steak dry for best sear, cook on high heat, and avoid overcrowding. Use fresh garlic and herbs to enhance flavor. Cook eggs last to absorb residual flavors. Adjust chili oil to taste and serve immediately for optimal texture.
