Equipment

  • microwave-safe bowl
  • mixing spoon
  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 3 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup candy-coated chocolate eggs

Instructions

  • Place the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Add the chow mein noodles to the melted mixture and gently stir until evenly coated, being careful not to crush them.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop portions of the mixture onto the sheet and gently shape into nests by pressing the center.
  • While the chocolate is still soft, place 2–3 candy eggs in the center of each nest and press lightly.
  • Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes or until the nests are firm and set. Serve once hardened.

Notes

Work quickly as the chocolate sets fast. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup. You can substitute peanut butter chips with white chocolate for a nut-free version. Store in a cool place or refrigerate if needed. Kids can help shape the nests and decorate.
