Equipment

  • blender or food processor
  • spatula for scraping sides
  • serving bowls or glasses

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • fresh blueberries (optional for layering)

Instructions

  • Place the frozen blueberries in a blender or food processor and let them sit for 2–3 minutes to soften slightly.
  • Add the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and ground cardamom to the blender.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup, then blend briefly.
  • Spoon a layer of frozen yogurt into serving bowls or glasses and add fresh blueberries if desired.
  • Repeat layering as desired to create a visually appealing presentation.
  • Serve immediately for a soft texture or freeze for 30–60 minutes for a firmer consistency.

Notes

Adjust sweetness depending on the ripeness of your blueberries. For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt and maple syrup. For best texture, use fully frozen blueberries and avoid over-blending. Freeze briefly for a firmer consistency if desired.
