Equipment

  • clear plastic cups 9–12 oz cups recommended
  • toothpicks or mini skewers
  • small mixing bowls for prepping ingredients
  • cutting board
  • knife

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese cubes
  • 1 cup gouda cubes
  • 12–16 slices salami (folded)
  • 1 cup red grapes
  • ½ cup almonds or cashews
  • 8–10 small crackers or breadsticks
  • as needed fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • as needed decorative toothpicks or mini skewers
  • 9–12 oz clear plastic cups

Instructions

  • Start by adding a small handful of nuts, a spoon of ranch dip, or grapes to the bottom of each cup. This base adds texture and prevents lighter ingredients from sliding around.
  • Fold slices of salami, prosciutto, or pepperoni and place them along the side of the cup. This adds height and creates a visually appealing layered effect.
  • Skewer cheese cubes, mozzarella pearls, or fruits like grapes and strawberries on toothpicks. Stand them upright in the cup to give dimension and color contrast.
  • Add small crackers, breadsticks, or mini pretzel sticks for height and crunch. These elements also make the cup more interactive and fun to eat.
  • Top each cup with a fresh rosemary sprig, a small chocolate square, or a light drizzle of honey for a final elegant touch. Serve immediately or chill for up to a few hours.

Notes

Prep ingredients a day in advance for faster assembly. Customize with different cheeses, meats, or fruits. Optional sweet touches include honey, chocolate, or fruit preserves. Keep small cups for portion control and use decorative skewers for presentation.
