Equipment

  • baking dish
  • small bowl
  • brush
  • knife

Ingredients

  • 12 soft dinner rolls (Hawaiian-style)
  • 12 slices deli turkey
  • 6 slices Swiss or provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  • Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom layer of rolls. Layer turkey slices and cheese, then cover with the top half of the rolls.
  • Combine melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, and sesame seeds. Brush generously over the tops of the rolls.
  • Cover sliders with foil and bake 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until tops are golden and slightly crispy.
  • Let cool slightly. Separate into individual sliders and top with fresh lettuce and tomato slices before serving.

Notes

Use fresh, soft rolls and layer ingredients evenly for best results. Brush the garlic butter generously to create a golden, flavorful top. Keep lettuce and tomato separate until serving to avoid sogginess.
