  • large pot for boiling pasta
  • skillet for shrimp and sauce
  • baking tray for garlic toast
  • mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 250 g fettuccine pasta
  • 300 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 slices bread
  • 3 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Season ribeye steaks with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let rest for 15 minutes.
  • Cook steaks on a grill or skillet over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side. Add butter in the last minute and let rest before serving.
  • Boil fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Sauté shrimp in olive oil with Cajun seasoning for 2–3 minutes per side. Add garlic and cook briefly.
  • Add heavy cream, Parmesan, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer and toss with cooked pasta. Garnish with parsley.
  • Mix butter, garlic, and parsley. Spread on bread and toast at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes until golden.
  • Plate steak with Cajun shrimp pasta and garlic toast. Serve immediately.

Notes

Let steak rest after cooking to retain juices. Cook shrimp quickly to avoid rubbery texture. Use fresh garlic for best flavor. Adjust Cajun seasoning gradually to control spice level. Add a splash of cream when reheating pasta to maintain creaminess.
